So I should clarify: sent-ness has a content, which includes baptizing and teaching. But these things must be thought of along a missionary trajectory: the Lord sends us to baptize and teach not only our own but <I>the nations</I>. I agree that it is primarily sent-ness, but let us not forget that when Christ sent the apostles he sent them to teach and baptize, and that the church does these things on the basis of that commission.W.
